Biography of Peter Thien

• 5 years at DuPont CC as an Assistant Professional
• 3 years at Bala GC as an Assistant Professional
• 10 years as Head Professional at Three Little Bakers
• 1 year as Director of Golf at Hartefeld National GC
• 8 years to present as PGA Teaching Professional at Delcastle Golf Center

Peter spent several years operating golf courses before devoting himself full time to teaching. His playing record includes winning 5 tournaments by age 21. When he entered the golf business full time, Peter finished in the top 20 in the Delaware Open several times during his tenure at DuPont CC and Three Little Bakers CC. Peter received the Philadelphia Section's 1994 Public Merchant of the Year Award. You can also find Peter's helpful golf hints published in the May 1987 Issue of Golf Digest.

Peter now teaches students at all levels; from the absolute beginner, to club champions, juniors, and adults. His teaching philosophy does not change in terms of swing mechanics, but will adapt to each individual depending on their goals and capabilities. Teaching the swing is putting together a series of motions and placing them on the course. Stressing the short game and putting are also emphasized to maximize scoring potential. 

Peter will also evaluate students' clubs to make sure that the equipment they have chosen compliments their swing.
